 Maxplant activities are consisted in breeding of edible snails- Helix aspersa at the farm, by technology of the   International Institute of breeding of edible snails  from Cherasco, Italy.
 Company "Maxplant" has signed an Agreement with the International Institute from Cherasco for the technology transfer of the snail breeding with the complete biological cycle on the open farms. The application of the International Institute technology guaranties a very successful snail production, high incomes and good financial results. The International Institute technology is applied in about 95% existing farms in Serbia.
 Maxplant would like to enable the future farmers in Serbia a transfer of this successful Italian technology, and also to provide long term contracts which will assure a safe and quick ransom of the entire production to the West- European market.


Maxplant received the national award -Gold snail 2006-

At the 35th International Meeting of Breeding of edible snails, held in Cherasco form 23th to 25th of Septembre, Mr. Radomir Mandic, director of the company Maxplant, received the national award "Gold snail 2006". The award was given by Intalian association of snails breeders and the International Institute of breeding of edible snail from Cherasco.
 The award was given for a development of the Helix aspersa snails farms of on the territory of Balcan countries.

Credit granted by Italian Goverment

Maxplant is credited from the line for development of small and medium enterprises in Serbia, granted by Italian government. The credit is used for enlargement of the existing farm to 18 hectares.

Dr. Giovanni Avagnina visited Maxplant

Dr. Giovanni Avagnina, director of the International institute for snail production in Cherasco, Italy, visited Maxplant on May 28, 2005.

On that occasion a strategy for introduction of Helix aspersa in farms organized by Maxplant has been discussed. Snail stock for introduction has been imported from Institute’s production in Italy.
